There is clearly a lot of work that is going into the restoration of this space. The floor is a short green carpet that I know won’t last for long. The recent burns have a special scent when mixed with a spring rain. It did not go unappreciated. On my first visit to this northern section of Grant Woods in the fall, I found whispers of its previous life in the very edible apples on a small grove of trees.
