I did not save the best for last. There was one milkweed where I did not do my best work with wax resist and the detail on the leaf design was lost. NO JOY!
Oh, but it got worse. My favorite art store stopped carrying my favorite glaze. The new glaze they’re carrying has been such a disappointment. CHIPPING!!!
Ugh. I do not know if life is imitating art or art, life right now. I just feel this!
I am not giving up. The chippy ones are just going to try to do life a little differently and make it work! They’re now part of wind chimes.
So, back to No Joy. I have planted it in McDonald Woods. McDonald Woods is where I was trying to get to a year ago today, but I was unable to cross Sand Lake Road safely. I am not going to post location clues. McDonald Woods is worth the hike. If you are able to find it and it also gives you no joy, please let me know and I will be happy to trade it for some chippy chimes.
