Raven Glen
Nothing but blue skies today, not even wind! A favorite spot got quite a new look. I still left a milkweed to hang out for awhile.
2024 Begins at Nippersink
I called it! I said earlier this year, when we were already having 60+ degree days, that it was going to snow during spring break. Old School
Pink on Pink. These milkweeds are getting a workout in on Old School’s pink, exercise trail!
Rollins Savanna
There’s no place like home. While this project has allowed me to fall in love all of the Lake County Forest Preserves, I think Rollins will always feel like home, where it all started.
Raven Glen
The milkweeds at Raven Glen do not have a paper crane friend to hang out with this year, but they do have a rock art neighbor. I think this place feels loved.
Lyons Woods
Lyons Wood makes me feel like there’s a touch of magic in the air. It has a uniqueness that separates it just a little from our other preserves.
Ray Lake 2023
Sterling Lake at Van Patten Woods
These milkweeds have great albeit rocky views of water, a great place to relax!
