I promise that blue sky clues are coming soon! If you can’t wait for clues, know that Milkweeds are already at Fort Sheridan and Daniel Wright Woods. I am heading out to Rollins and Sun Lake today! Pine Dunes
There was a lovely, red-winged serenade accompanying us on our entire hike this day!

Lakewood

McDonald Woods
I intentionally sought out some new locations for McDonald plantings. I was successful for two out of the three! I love how this preserve changes through the seasons.
Raven Glen
Nothing but blue skies today, not even wind! A favorite spot got quite a new look. I still left a milkweed to hang out for awhile.

Old School
Pink on Pink. These milkweeds are getting a workout in on Old School’s pink, exercise trail!
Rollins Savanna
There’s no place like home. While this project has allowed me to fall in love all of the Lake County Forest Preserves, I think Rollins will always feel like home, where it all started.
